AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO THE
PRESCRIBED PATTERN OF PARKING ALONG FAS ROUTE 106 ( ILLINOIS
ROUTE 25) .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City Code
of Elgin , be , and the same hereby is , amended by including in
the streets designated under Section 17- 1003, on which parking
is prohibited , the following :
Dundee Avenue , on the West side thereof , from Ford
Avenue to Congdon Avenue;
Dundee Avenue , on the West side thereof, from Cooper
Avenue to Page Avenue;
Dundee Avenue , on the East side thereof, from Ford
Avenue to Keep Avenue;
Liberty Street , on the West side thereof, from Keep
Avenue to Congdon Avenue;
Liberty Street , on the West side thereof, from Page
Avenue to Cooper Avenue ;
Liberty Street , on the East side thereof, from Congdon
Avenue to Page Avenue;
Page Avenue , on both sides thereof , from Dundee Avenue
to Liberty Street .
Section 2 . That Ordinance No . G- 1476 passed September 22 ,
1971 , be , and the same hereby is , repealed and of no further
force and effect .
Section 3, That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and of no further
force and effect .
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
