AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO STOP
INTERSECTIONS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article VIII of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended by deleting
from the streets designated under Section 17-802 entitled
"Stop Intersections " the following :
All vehicles being operated on South Street must
stop at South Alfred Street before crossing or
entering the same .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and of
no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .

Ordinance Passed Providing for a Stop Intersection on
South Street at Edison
Councilman Tillery made a motion, seconded by Councilman Landis to pass an ordinance
providing for a stop intersection of South Street at Edison. Yeas: Councilmen Bruneman,
Doxey, Landis, Pearsaul, Santanni , Tillery and Mayor Rauschenberger. Nays: None.
