AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE TO REMOVE PARKING
RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF ELGIN .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner, to-wit :
( a) By deleting from the streets included in the
two ( 2) hour limited parking areas under Section
17- 1004 the following :
Seneca Street , west of Dundee Avenue ;
( b ) By deleting from the streets included in the
one ( 1 ) hour limited parking area under Section
17- 1004 , the following :
North Spring Street , on the Easterly side thereof ,
north of Cooper Avenue .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
