r AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , TO PROVIDE FOR AN
ADDITIONAL NEEDED PARKING AREA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article XII of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner , to-wit:
By adding to the streets and places included in the
30-minute metered parking area , under Section 17-1210
( a) , the following :
One metered parking space on East Chicago Street ,
on the South side thereof immediately East of
the Union National Bank & Trust Company Drive-Up
facility .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
