AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED , TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , AS IT PERTAINS TO
STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin , be, and the same hereby is , amended by including
in the streets designated under Section 17- 1003 , on which
parking is prohibited , the following :
Duncan Avenue , on the West side thereof, from a
point 165 feet North of the intersection of the
center lines of Duncan Avenue and Dundee Avenue ,
for a distance of 50 feet Northerly thereof.
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage , as provided by law, and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
