AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL
METERED PARKING AREAS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article XII of Chapter 17 of the City Code
of Elgin , be , and the same hereby is , amended in the following
manner , to-wit:
( a) By adding to the streets included in the two hour
metered parking areas under Section 17- 1212 , the
following :
North Street on both sides thereof , between Brook
Street and North Grove Avenue .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be, and the same hereby are , repealed and of
no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage , as provided by law, and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
