AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF- ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED "TRAFFIC- CONTROL- ORDINANCE " , TO PROVIDE - FOR ADDITIONAL
30 MINUTE METERED PARKING" ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL - OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 : That Article XIi of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner , to-wit:
( a ) By adding to the streets included in the 30 minute
metered pa •king area under Section 17- 1210 , the following ,
to-wit :
First metered space on West side of Spring Street,
North of DuPage Street .
(b ) By deleting . from -the• streets and areas designated as
2 hour metered, per-kinag .ereas=-under Section 17- 1212 , the
following , to-wit :
First metered space- on West- siideo•f Spring Street,
North of DuPage Street .
Section 2 , That all ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict herewith - be ,- and the same hereby are , • repealed and of
no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage' as provided byelaw and shall - be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council
