019114 AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS , EN-
TITLED "THE ELGIN ZONING ORDINANCE" .
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been- duly held pursuant to
statute of the State- of Illinois and . the provisions of the Elgin
Zoning Ordinance , and
WHEREAS , the Elgin,Zoning Board of Appeals has transmitted
its recommendations to the City Council all of which have been
duly considered .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED_ BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That: Sub-section . B of Section 21-.106 of Chapter
21 of the City Code of Elgin , Illinois , as amended , be , and
the same hereby is , amended by adding thereto the following
paragraph :
That the boundaries hereinbefore . described and laid
out in the " Zoning District Map"., as amended , be ,
and they hereby are , altered and amended in the
following manner , to-wit :
By including in B- 1 Community Business District the
t'` following described premises , to-wit :
Parcel #1 . Lots 5 and 6 in Block 1 of Illinois
Park 2nd Addition and that portion of Kaskaskia
Avenue lying Southerly of and adjacent to the
South line of said Lot 6 and a strip of land
18 feet wide lying East of' and adjacent to that
portion of Kaskaskia Avenue heretofore described .
Parcel #2 . The South half of Lots 1 and 2 in
BLock 2 of Illinois Park 2nd Addition and that
portion of a' pt lic alley lying South of and
adjacent to the South line of said Lots 1 and 2
and a strip of land 18 feet wide lying Easterly
of and adjacent to the South half of said Lott 1
and said public alley . Also Lot 1 and 2 EXCtPT
the West 10: 0 feet thereof in Block 1 of Illinois
Park Addition and- that portion of Illinois Parkway
lying Southerly of and adjacent to said Lot 1 and
Lot 2 EXCEPT the West 10 . 0 feet thereof.

Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof , in con-
flict herewith , be , and- the same hereby- are , repealed and of no
further force and effect .
Section 3 . That- this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , as- provided by law , and shall
be published in pamphlet- form- by authority of the City Council .
