AMENDING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING AND CON-
DUCTING OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Paragraph 1 of Ordinance No. S-551, passed on
May 2, 1955, providing for the holding of regular meetings of the City
Council be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
That the regular meetings of said Council shall be held in the
Council chamber in the City Hall on the 2nd and 4th Wed-
nesdays of each month at the hour of 7:30 P. M.
This this ordinance shall effect no change, however, in the regular meetings
of the City Council scheduled for the month of August, 1967, but shall be-
come effective with the first meeting held in September of 1967.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, as provided by law, and shall be'published in pamp-
hiet form by authority of the City Council.
