AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT AGREE-
MENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES WITH CHICAGO RAWHIDE MANU-
FACTURING COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Chicago Rawhide. Manufacturing Company is constructing
an underground sanitary sewer line leading from facilities on premises owned
by it in parts of Sections 10 and 11, Township 41 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Elgin Township, Kane County, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of premises over which it is necessary
for said sewer line to cross in order to connect with the existing sanitary sewer
line facilities, and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the City Council, it is necessary
and proper and to the best public interests that sanitary sewer lines be con-
structed and the City should grant an easement therefore to the said Chicago
Rawhide Manufacturing Company for such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Elgin be, and they
hereby are, authorized, empowered, directed, instructed, for and on behalf of
the City of Elgin to execute an Easement Agreement with Chicago Rawhide
Manufacturing Company, an Illinois corporation, granting and conveying an
easement for sanitary sewer purposes over the Southwesterly 20 feet of the fol-
lowing premises, to-wit:
That part of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at
a point on the center line of State Route 31 that is 396. 0 feet
North of the South line of said Section 11; thence Westerly along
a line that forms an angle of 107 degrees 05 minutes from North
to West of said center line, a distance of 36. 62 feet for the place
of beginning; thence continuing Westerly along the last described
course, a distance of 253 feet more or less to the Northeasterly
right of way line of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway; thence
Southeasterly along said Northeasterly right of way line, being
along a curve to the right, a distance of 330 feet more or less to
the Westerly line of State Route 31; thence Northeasterly along
said Westerly line, a distance of 300 feet more or less to the

place of beginning. Being situated in the City of Elgin, Kane County, 41)
Illinois.
Section 2, That a true copy of said agreement entitled "Sewer Easement
Agreement" is attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance as Exhibit
,TAH.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after its pass
age as provided by law and shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of
the City Council.
