S-774 Ordinance No. S-774 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A MODIFICATION OF THE SIDEWALK ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO CERTAIN PORTIONS OF HUBBARD AVENUE AND SHULER STREET, IN THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, WHEREAS, various petitions have been filed with the City of Elgin requesting authorization for the modification of the Sidewalk Ordinance on various streets in the City of Elgin, Illinois, and WHEREAS, pursuant to authority given by resolution of the City Council, the City Manager has reviewed the individual requests and has recommended, in view of the general terrain of the various areas and the location of existing sidewalks thereon, such modifications are desirable, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That a curb line sidewalk of approved specifications be, and such hereby is, authorized to be constructed upon and along the follow- ing streets in the City of Elgin, Illinois, to-wit: Hubbard Avenue on the East side thereof from Lawrence Avenue to High Street. Shuler Street on both sides thereof between South Edison Avenue and South Alfred Street. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith be repealed and of no further force and effect. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council. Clyde L.
