AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE
ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, AS IT PERTAINS TO
THE SALARY OF THE CITY MANAGER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section IV of Ordinance No. S-549 passed
May 2, 1955, entitled, "An Ordinance Relating to the Administrative
Organization of the City Government" as amended, be and the same is
hereby amended in the following manner, to-wit:
That the salary provided for the City Manager be stricken and
a salary of $16, 200. 00 be inserted in lieu thereof.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after
its passage as provided by law and shall be published in pamphlet form by
authority of the City Council.
