RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSAL FROM TKB ASSOCIATES, INC.
FOR THE PURCHASE OF LASERFICHE ENTERPRISE CONTENT MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM UPGRADE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that pursuant to Elgin Municipal Code Section 5.02.020B(9) the City Council hereby finds that an
exception to the requirements of the procurement ordinance is necessary and in the best interest of
the city; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Richard G. Kozal, City Manager, be and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute a proposal dated January 17, 2018, from TKB Associates, Inc. for the total amount of
$81,367 regarding the purchase of Laserfiche Enterprise Content Management System upgrade, a
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
