RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
(Highland Avenue-Cambridge Lakes Subdivision)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that it
hereby accepts a certain plat of dedication for public purposes prepared by Bradley A. Strohl, an
Illinois Land Surveyor, and dated November 2,2016,for the property legally described as follows:
That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 33 and the Northwest Quarter of
Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 7 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 9095 in Cambridge Lakes Unit 17,recorded
October 3, 2007, as Document 2007K101412; thence South 00 degrees 03 minutes
16 seconds West along the Southerly extension of the East line of said Cambridge
Lakes Unit 17, 40.37 feet to the Centerline of Highland Avenue,being a line 40.00
feet Southerly of and parallel with the Southerly line of said Cambridge Lakes Unit
17 and the Southerly line of Cambridge Lakes Unit 18,recorded December 26,2015,
as document 2015K068821; thence South 82 degrees 16 minutes 17 seconds West
along the Centerline of said Highland Avenue, 1732.27 feet to a line being 40.00 feet
East of and parallel with the Centerline of Reinking Road; thence Northerly along
said parallel line for the following 2 courses: 1)thence North 15 degrees 29 minutes
00 seconds West, 5.46 feet to a point of curvature;2)thence Northerly along a curve
concave Easterly,having a radius of 1251.20 feet,an arc length of 34.84 feet,a chord
bearing of North 14 degrees 41 minutes 08 seconds and a chord length of 34.84 feet
to a point on a non-tangent line, being the Southerly line of said Cambridge Lakes
Unit 18, thence North 82 degrees 16 minutes 17 seconds East along said Southerly
line and the Southerly line of said Cambridge Lakes Unit 17, 1742.70 feet to the
point of beginning, in the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed
to cause said plat of dedication to be filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
