RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS IN SHADOW HILL UNIT 4, PHASE 2 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the public improvements within the
Shadow Hill Unit 4, Phase 2 Subdivision which include sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer,
pavement, street lights, and street signs. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the
following city-maintained facilities: approximately 959 lineal feet of 8-inch water main; 2, 8-inch
valves in 4-foot vaults; 5 fire hydrants; 1,131 lineal feet of 12-inch storm sewer; 14 catch basins;
1,680 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer; 13,4-foot sanitary manholes;9 street lights;2 street
signs; 105 parkway trees,750 lineal feet of 10 foot bike path and 1,716 lineal feet of improved street
(including curb, gutter and sidewalk or bike path on both sides) and all their respective
appurtenances.
