RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE KANE COUNTY DUI TASK FORCE GRANT
FOR REIMBURSEMENT FUNDS REGARDING IMPAIRED DRIVING
ENFORCEMENT AND SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin, Illinois, hereby accepts the Kane County DUI Task Force Grant in the
amount of $18,000 for reimbursement funds regarding impaired driving enforcement and
specialized equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Sean R. Stegall, City Manager, is hereby authorized
and directed to execute all documents necessary in conjunction with the subject grant program.

The DAX will be used to build stronger cases against Dui violators and increase the
ability to recognize people who are under the influence of drugs.
