RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN WATERFORD NEIGHBORHOOD 6 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the public improvements within
Waterford Neighborhood 6 Subdivision. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the
following city-maintained facilities: approximately 2,820 lineal feet of 8-inch water main; 2,185
lineal feet of 12-inch water main;eight 8-inch valves in 4-foot vaults; five 12-inch valves in 5-foot
vaults; 16 fire hydrants; 1,792 lineal feet of 10-inch storm sewer;2,455 lineal feet of 12-inch storm
sewer;340 lineal feet of 15-inch storm sewer; 1,884 lineal feet of 18-inch storm sewer;74 lineal feet
of 21-inch storm sewer;222 lineal feet of 24-inch storm sewer;45 catch basins;31 storm manholes;
2 flared end sections;3,881 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary main; 16 sanitary sewer manholes;25 street
lights; 10 street signs;215 parkway trees and 6,851 lineal feet of improved street(including curb and
gutter on both sides) with sidewalk and all their respective appurtenances.
