RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN WATERFORD NEIGHBORHOOD 5 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the public improvements within
Waterford Neighborhood 5 Subdivision. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the
following city-maintained facilities: approximately 4,273 lineal feet of 8-inch water main; nine fl-
inch valves in 4-foot vaults; 12 fire hydrants; 745 lineal feet of 10-inch storm sewer;3,277 lineal feet
of 12-inch storm sewer; 811 lineal feet of 15-inch storm sewer; 522 lineal feet of 18-inch storm
sewer;292 lineal feet of 21-inch storm sewer; 655 lineal feet of 24-inch storm sewer; 151 lineal feet
of 27-inch storm sewer; 1,448 lineal feet of 36-inch storm sewer; 46 catch basins; 47 storm
manholes; 5,485 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary main;31 sanitary sewer manholes; 31 street lights; 11
street signs;246 parkway trees and 6,577 lineal feet of improved street(including curb and gutter on
both sides)with sidewalk and all their respective appurtenances.
