RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN WATERFORD NEIGHBORHOOD 3 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the public improvements within
Waterford Neighborhood 3 Subdivision. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the
following city-maintained facilities: approximately 3,833 lineal feet of 8-inch water main; four fl-
inch valves in 4-foot vaults; 11 fire hydrants; 1,340 lineal feet of 12-inch storm sewer; 1,413 lineal
feet of 15-inch storm sewer;241 lineal feet of 18-inch storm sewer;225 lineal feet of 21-inch storm
sewer; 421 lineal feet of 24-inch storm sewer; 397 lineal feet of 27-inch storm sewer; 35 lineal feet
of 30-inch storm sewer; 1,416 lineal feet of 36-inch storm sewer; 24 catch basins; 33 storm
manholes; 3,330 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary main; 20 sanitary sewer manholes; 15 street lights; 4
street signs; 150 parkway trees and 3,726 lineal feet of improved street(including curb and gutter on
both sides) with sidewalk and all their respective appurtenances.
