RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN REMINGTON MEADOWS SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the public improvements within
Remington Meadows Subdivision. Acceptance of the public improvements will add the following
city-maintained facilities: approximately 2,863 lineal feet of 8-inch water main;two 8-inch valves in
4-foot vaults; 10 fire hydrants; 1,837 lineal feet of 12-inch storm sewer; 636 lineal feet of 15-inch
storm sewer;380 lineal feet of 18-inch storm sewer;324 lineal feet of 24-inch storm sewer; 24 catch
basis; 17 storm manholes;2,647 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary main; 13 sanitary sewer manholes; 14
street lights;3 street signs;126 parkway trees and 2,758 lineal feet of improved street(including curb
and gutter on both sides)with sidewalk on both sides along Kyra Lane and Copper Springs Lane and
all their respective appurtenances.
