RE: Renewal of Amended and Restated Ground Lease Agreement ("Agreement")
In accordance with the Agreement, Section 25.B., dated January 20, 1994, between the City of
Elgin and Elgin Riverboat Resort, Elgin Riverboat Resort is required to provide written
notification not later than 180 days prior to expiration of the current term of our intent to exercise
the renewal option.
Please let this letter serve as notification of Elgin Riverboat Resort's intent to renew the
Agreement with the City of Elgin for the third of four successive terms of five year periods. This
would effectively extend our lease from November 1, 2014 through October 31, 2019.
