RESOLUTION
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER IL-121141A-02 FOR THE
CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC. REGARDING THE
INTEROPERABLE P25 COMPLIANT RADIO SYSTEM
WHEREAS,the City of Elgin has heretofore entered into a contract with Motorola Solutions,
Inc. regarding the Interoperable P25 Compliant Radio System; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to modify the terms of the contract as is described
in Change Order Number IL-121141A-02, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS,that Sean R, Stegall, City Manager,be and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute Change Order Number IL-121141 A-02, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference.

The purpose of this Change Order is to document the following changes made during the
Detailed Design Review(DDR): t
1. Original (5) Five DSHPSWITCHE252OG HP ProcurvefE2520G and (3)Three DQJE007AABA
HP Procurve V1910-24-POE (365W) Switch Switches removed. (8) Eight DQJE007AABA HP
V1910-24G-POE(365W) SWITCHES added in place of 8 switches above.
2. Removed (2)two PoE switches from Police building, only 1 left according to customer request.
3. Removed the second rack at the Police building.
4.Added (8) eight 7/800 antennas to the Fire Stations.
6.Added extra MCD5000 Consolette cable feed lines.
7. Removed (8) eight 7 foot racks at all the Fire Stations and added new 5.5 Foot Racks.
8. Only power supplies for Desk Mount MCD500 Desksets and MCD RGUs left in equipment list,
all others removed.

In accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract identified above between the City
of Elgin and Motorola Solutions, Inc. (MSI),the following changes are approved.
The City of Elgin finds, and to the best of MSI's knowledge and belief,the circumstances
necessitating this change in performance were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the
contract was signed;this change is germane to the contract as originally signed;and this change
order is in the best interests of the City of Elgin and is authorized by law.
The decrease in price for Change Orders 1 and 2 combined totals .043%from the original
contract.
