RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF CONSOLE EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENTS
FROM WATSON FURNITURE GROUP FOR
EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS CENTER DISPATCH
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that Sean R. Stegall, City Manager, be and is hereby authorized and directed to purchase console
equipment improvements from Watson Furniture Group for emergency communications center
dispatch for the total amount of$35,976 pursuant to the quotation therefor dated March 22, 2013,
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby finds that an exception to
the requirements of the procurement ordinance is necessary and in the best interests of the city
for the purchase authorized by this resolution.

6.Change Order Fee(minimum S500)may be applicable after 5 business days of Complete Order submission.
7. Re-Scheduled Delivery&Installation requires 4 week notification.
8. There will be a S500(Net per order) Finish Configuration Fee added IF color scheme is chosen outside of the eight(8)standard color
schemes.
9. Pricing will be valid for four(4)months after receipt of Purchase Order any orders that have not been manufactured within this time frame
will be subject to a price change.
