RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CASTLE CREEK SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance in the Castle Creek Subdivision the
following public improvements: 5,175 lineal feet of 8" water main, 15 valves and vaults, 12 fire
hydrants, 3,382 lineal feet of 8" sanitary sewer, 17 sanitary manholes, 2,713 lineal feet of 10" storm
sewer, 2,313 lineal feet of 12" storm sewer, 509 lineal feet of 15" storm sewer, 804 lineal feet of 18"
storm sewer, 449 lineal feet of 24" storm sewer, 59 catch basins, 13 storm manholes, 15 street lights,
4,465 lineal feet of improved street (including curb & gutter and sidewalk on both sides of the street)
and their appurtenances to the city maintained facilities, but not including the Incomplete VO -Land
Lots Public Improvements as defined in the conditional subdivision acceptance agreement between
the City of Elgin, The Ryland Group, Inc. and VO -Land, LLC dated January 27, 2010.
