RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT APPLICATION FROM
THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES-OPEN SPACE LAND
ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT(OSLAD)
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PHASE I OF THE
REGIONAL PARK ON PLANK ROAD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
Olufemi Folarin,City Manager,and Diane Robertson,City Clerk,be and are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a grant application on behalf of the City of Elgin from the Illinois Department of
Natural Resources-Open Space Land Acquisition and Development(OSLAD) for development of
Phase I of the Regional Park on Plank Road.

Randy has a pdf of the form,which is 88 pages. The document is all encumbering; instructions, examples, blank forms—
all for both types of grants—acquisition grant and development grant. I believe you wanted the actual application,
which is not ready as Paul noted yesterday. As you said yesterday,you will remove the reference to the actual
completed application as an attachment to each resolution since we do not have the completed applications yet.
