RESOLUTION
ESTABLISHING AN HOURLY RATE FOR H I• OF POLICE OFFICERS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF E CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
there be and is hereby established the following hourly rat: for special police details:
I. Regular Members of Police Force:
Units of Local Government
and School Districts $ '7.00
All Others $ 59.00
II. Community Service Officer $ 41.00
III. Auxiliary Officers $ 21.00
IV. Use of squad car $ 11.00
The rates for special police details shall be increased annua ly based on the general wage increase
included in the city's collective bargaining agreement with t e police union.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the rates establ shed herein shall be effective on and
after January 1, 2006 and shall supersede any rates previous y established.
