RESOLUTION
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
BE IT RESOLVED that David Parulo be and is hereby appointed as a member of the Elgin
Area Convention and Visitors Bureau to fulfill the unexpired term of Paula Wyatt, for a term to
expire December 31, 2005.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Rick Krocza be and is hereby appointed as a member of
the Heritage Commission to fulfill the unexpired term of Gregory Smith,for a term to expire May 1,
2006.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Tim Walkup be and is hereby reappointed as the Elgin Historic District
Representative of the Heritage Commission - Design Review Subcommittee, for a term to expire
June 30, 2006.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Jeanette Mihalec be and is hereby appointed as a member of the Human Relations
Commission, for a term to expire May 1, 2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Leo Nelson be and is hereby reappointed as a member of the Planning and
Development Commission, for a term to expire July 1, 2008.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
Daniel Weiler be and is hereby reappointed as a member of the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing
Board, for a term to expire July 1,2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Cristina Castro be and is hereby appointed as a member
of the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board fulfill the unexpired term of Ralph Tiberi,for a term to
expire July 1, 2007, with such appointment to become effective upon Ms. Castro submitting her
written resignation to the City Clerk for her current membership on The Centre Advisory Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS,that Gildardo Valencia be and is hereby appointed as a member of the Project Leadership
Team for the Sports Complex Redevelopment (also known as the Golf Leadership Team).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Resolution No. 97-232 establishing a Project Leadership Team for the
Redevelopment of the City of Elgin Sports Complex property be and is hereby revised by amending
Section 2A thereof to provide that the Project Leadership Team shall be composed of eleven (11)
members).

I Chose to move and open my business here in Elgin because of the city's potential.The more I
learned and got to know Elgin,the more I wanted to become involved with the rebuilding of the city.
My company's niche is turn of the century architectural style commonly found in both the downtown
and surrounding neighborhood homes.I enjoy researching the history of the various structures and of
the city at the library and Historical Society. I have strong beliefs in Elgin's future.
