CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AND FINAL FOR BID ITE C-4
SCOPE: Change Order No. 1 and Final will add two wor, items to and delete two work items
from the lump sum contract with S.G. Krauss Co. for Bid I em C-4, "Metal Structures"of the
New Public Works Facility Project - Bid Package C.
REASONS FOR CHANGE: This Change Order No. 1 . d Final is in the best interest of the
City and is authorized by law. The construction work sco I• adjustments were unforeseen at the
time of original contract award.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES IN CONTRACT AMOU T: The amount the contract will be
revised is as follows:

1. Furnish angle iron edges for maintenance pit in fleet sery ces area. $544.00
2. Delete gratings for floor drains in sweeper area, fleet mai tenance -$2,742.00
area and wash bays not needed due to use of trench fo complete
with gratings.
3. Delete support bracket specified in plans for DTN weath-r radar dish. -$860.00
4. Provide revised support bracket for DTN weather radar 1,ish. $1,180.00
The original contract with S.G. Krauss Co, is for$144,625.10. By reason of Change Order No. 1
and Final, the contract for Bid Item C-4, "Metal Structures' of the New Public Works Facility
Project - Bid Package C will be decreased by the amount o one thousand, eight hundred and
seventy-eight and 00/100 dollars (-$1,878.00). The new co tract amount, inclusive of Change
Order No. 1 and Final, is one hundred and forty-two thous. d, seven hundred and fifty-seven and
00/100 dollars($142,747.00).
OTHER CONTRACT PROVISIONS: All other contract provisions shall remain the same.
