PROJECT 339570-NEW PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AND FINAL FOR BID ITEM A-3
SCOPE: Change Order No.1 and Final will add one work item to the lump sum contract with
Curran Contractors, Inc for Bid Item A-3, "Site Paving" of th- New Public Works Facility Project
- Bid Package A.
REASONS FOR CHANGE: This Change Order No.1 and Final is in the best interest of the City
and is authorized by law. The construction work scope adjustment was unforeseen at the time of
original contract award.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES IN CONTRACT AMOUNT: The amount the contract will be
revised as follows:
ITEM TOTAL
1. Over excavate four(4) inches of soft sub-grade from south parking $1, 787.57
lot and fill area to specified grade with 133 tons of gravel.
2. Over excavate areas of soft sub-grade around catch basins and new $1, 972.15
water line in west parking lot and fill to grade with 160 tons of gravel.
3. Provide gravel for cast-in-place concrete contractor(Manning). $478.00
The original contract with Curran Contractors Inc. is for$267,510.00. By reason of Change
Order No. 1 and Final,the contract for Bid Item A-3, "Site 'aving"of the New Public Works
Facility Project- Bid Package A will be increased by the am.wit of one thousand, seven hundred
and eighty-three and 57/100 dollars($4,237.72). The new c ntract amount, inclusive of Change
Order No.1 and Final is two hundred and sixty-nine thousani, two hundred and ninety-three and
57/100 dollars($271,747.72).
OTHER CONTRACT PROVISIONS: All other contract provisions shall remain the same.
