RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
WITH JOYCE A. PARKER
WHEREAS, the City of Elgin and Joyce A. parker have
heretofore entered into a contract for employment by City of
Joyce A. Parker; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire that Joyce A. Parker continue
said employment and to amend said contract to increase the annual
salary to be paid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that Ed Schock, Mayor, and Dolonna
Mecum, City Clerk, are hereby authorized and directed to execute
on behalf of the City of Elgin, an Amendment to Employment
Contract with Joyce A. Parker, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference .

AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
This Amendment to E ployment Contract agreement

entered into this 1y �day of 001, by and between the
CITY OF ELGIN, an Illinois municipal corporation (hereinafter
referred to as the "City" ) and JOYCE A. PARKER.
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the City and Joyce A. Parker have
previously entered into a contract for employment between the
City and Joyce A. Parker providing for Joyce A. Parker ' s
employment as the City Manager for the City; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the compensation
to be paid to Joyce A. Parker pursuant to said employment
contract .
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the City
and Joyce A. Parker as follows :
1 . That Section 2 of the subject employment
contract is hereby amended to increase Joyce A. Parker ' s
annual salary by three and one/half percent (3%%) to the sum
of $128 , 611 . 00 annually, commencing December 17, 2000 .
2 . That all other terms of the employment contract
between the City and Joyce A. Parker shall remain in full
force and effect .
