RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT APPLICATION
TO THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
FOR ENHANCED ENFORCEMENT OF THE DUI LAWS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Kevin Kelly, Mayor, be and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute a grant application to the Illinois
Department of Transportation for enhanced enforcement of the
DUI laws, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference.

enforcement campaigns. During these periods, certified officers working
overtime will concentrate on enforcement of impaired driving laws: The project
