RESOLUTION
DESIGNATING OLUFEMI FOLARIN AS THE AUTHORIZED AGENT
FOR THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Olufemi Folarin be and is hereby designated as
the authorized agent of the City of Elgin for the Illinois
Municipal Retirement Fund.

SUBJECT: IMRF Authorized Agent
PURPOSE
The purpose of this memo is to have the Mayor and members of
the City Council appoint the Human Resource Director as the
new authorized agent for the City' s IMRF pension plan.
BACKGROUND
IMRF regulations require that the City has an authorized agent
appointed by the governing body for the administration of the
IMRF plan. Virginia Schuring, the Human Resources Administra-
tive Assistant, has served in this capacity since May 13 , 1987
under the direction of the Human Resources Director. Employee
t benefits including IMRF are administered by the Human Resourc-
es Department .
With Ms . Schuring' s pending retirement, it is necessary to
designate another employee as the authorized representative .
