RESOLUTION
ESTABLISHING THE ELGIN RECREATION CENTER TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to create a tas
force to identify issues and make recommendations regarding
the organization and structure of the Elgin Recreation Center
including consideration of its merger with another youth
organization, financial procedures and controls, program
implementation and design, and alternatives to balance its
budget over the next three years .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the following persons are hereby
appointed as members of the Elgin Recreation Center Task Force:
Terry Gavin Larry Sowell
John McKevitt Tom Sandor
John Schwan Eric Stuckey
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Elgin Recreation Center
Task Force shall conduct its meetings in accordance with the
Illinois Open Meetings Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Elgin Recreation Center
Task Force shall submit its recommendations within thirty days
of its estabishment to the City Council .
