RESOLUTION
NAMING FIRE BARN #5 MUSEUM PARK SITE
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to name City of Elgin
parks in honor of those persons, events and principles which
have contributed to the city' s history and shaped its
character; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that those defining persons,
events and principles be memorialized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that it hereby names the Fire Barn #5 Museum park
site located at Arlington Avenue and St. Charles Street "Fire
Fighters Memorial Park" in honor of all fire fighters.
