RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE REPORT "ENHANCING THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP
FOCUSED ON THE REGION'S CENTER" AND DIRECTING IMPLEMENTATION
WHEREAS, on May 25, 1994, the City Council directed the
City Manager to review and report to it concerning the Center
City Development Corporation and finances needed to keep River
Place and the Childrens ' Museum open; and
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1994 , the City Manager delivered his
report and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs in the findings and
recommendations of the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that it hereby directs the City
Manager to take action necessary to implement the
recommendations of the City Manager contained in his report of
June 22, 1994, entitled "Enhancing the Community Partnership
Focused on the Region Center" .
