RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO CITY MANAGER'S EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute an amendment to the employment contract between the
City of Elgin and Larry Rice, City Manager, in such form as is
approved by the Corporation Counsel, to increase the annual
salary of the City Manager from the sum of $93, 156 to the sum
of $95,485 commencing January 1, 1993 .

AMENDED EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the CITY OF ELGIN, a municipal corporation
(City) , and LARRY RICE (Rice) have heretofore entered into a
contract for employment by City of Rice as city manager;
WHEREAS, said contract provided for annual merit
adjustments of Rice ' s compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between City and
Rice that said agreement is hereby amended to increase Rice' s
salary to the sum of $95,485 . 00, commencing January 1, 1993 .
