92-102 RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR A WATER TOWER SITE
WHEREAS, the American National Bank. and Trust Company of
Chicago, as Trustee under Trust Number 109526-04 dated
September 29, 1989, has agreed to dedicate certain real
property for a water tower site to the City of Elgin; and
WHEREAS, the addition of said property to the public
property owned by the City of Elgin will benefit the City and
its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that it hereby accepts the Trustee' s
Deed of the American National Bank and Trust Company, as
Trustee under Trust Number 109526-04 dated September 29, 1989,
to the City of Elgin for the property legally described as
follows :
Those parts of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 28 and the Southeast 1/4 of
the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, both in Township 41
North, Range 8, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwest corner of College Green Drive as dedicated
in College Green Unit 5, being a subdivision in that
part of the Northeast quarter of Section 28,
aforesaid, recorded as Document 1982842; thence (S
1° 40 ' 29" E (S 0° 27 ' 22" W record) along the East
line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 28, aforesaid,
a distance of 70.00 feet to the Southwest corner of
said College Green Drive; thence S 88° 19 ' 31" W at
right angles to last described line, a distance of
194 .90 feet to a point of curvature; thence
northwesterly along an arc of a circle, convex to
the Southwest, having a radius of 385. 00 feet, the
chord thereof having a bearing of N 63° 40 ' 07" W
and a length of 361.57 feet, an arc-distance of
376 . 38 feet to a point of tangency; thence N 35° 39 '
45" W, a distance of 181 .47 feet to a point of
curvature; thence northwesterly along an arc of a
circle, convex to the Northeast, having a radius of
665.00 feet, the chord thereof having a bearing of N
41° 57 ' 24" W and a length of 145. 81 feet, an
arc-distance of 146. 10 feet to the place of
beginning; thence continuing northwesterly along an
arc of same circle, convex to the Northeast, having
a radius of 665 .00 feet, the chord thereof having a
bearing of N 53° 41 ' 42" W and a length of 126 . 19
feet, an arc-distance of 126 .38 feet to a point of
eik compound curvature; thence northwesterly along an
arc of a circle, convex to the Northeast, having a
radius of 602 .00 feet, the chord thereof having a
bearing of N 65° 34 ' 45" W and a length of 135.04
feet, an arc-distance of 135 . 33 feet; thence S 44°
15 ' 32" W, a distance of 143.07 feet; thence S 1°
51 ' 53" E, a distance of 103. 00 feet; thence S 46°
51 ' 53" E, a distance of 105.00 feet; thence N 88°

15 ' 32" E, a distance of 200.00 feet to the place of
beginning, in Kane County, Illinois .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to record the Trustee's Deed herein
described in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of the County
of Kane.
