RELEASE
Lulu E. Schmicker, my heirs and assigns, does hereby
release and promise to indemnify the City of Elgin, and/or its
agents, employees and officers from any and all liabilities,
claims, lawsuits and demands arising from damage to person
and/or property arising out of or in any manner connected with
or relating to the sewer main, stub, or service located at,
near, upon, or under the property commonly known as 613 Cooper
Avenue, Elgin, Illinois, for and in consideration of the sum
of Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety-Two Dollars
( $2,792 . 00) in hand paid.

SEPTEMBER 11, 1991
Joint Meeting with the Kane County Board
The Mayor and Councilmembers met with members of the Kane County
Board commencing at 6 p.m. It was the consensus of those
present that the meeting had been very beneficial and future
meetings of the two entities should be held.
The Committee of the Whole meeting was called to order by Mayor
VanDeVoorde at 6 :52 p.m. in the Council Conference Room.
Present: Councilmembers Fox, Moylan, Popple, Walters, Yearman,
and Mayor VanDeVoorde. Absent: Councilman Gilliam.
Invitation to participate in St. Edwards Parade
Mayor VanDeVoorde announced that the Council had been invited
to participate in St. Edwards ' 50th anniversary parade on
October 5, 1991 .
Request for reimbursement for prior sewer work at 613 Cooper
Avenue
Councilwoman Moylan made a motion, seconded by Councilwoman
Yearman, to reimburse Mrs. Henry Schmicker for the amount
previously paid for sewer work at 6.13 Cooper Avenue. Yeas:
Councilmembers Fox, Moylan, Popple, Walters, Yearman, and Mayor
VanDeVoorde. Nays : None.
Amendment to an agreement with the FAA
A resolution will be presented at tonight's Council meeting for
adoption by the City Council.
Authorization to execute an agreement with the Elgin
Development Corporation
A resolution will be presented at tonight's Council meeting for
adoption by the City Council.
Authorization to accept certain property east of McLean
Boulevard at Bowes Road
A resolution will be presented at tonight's Council meeting for
adoption by the City Council .

Release for Sewer Repair Reimbursement
You will find attached the original of the subject release which
was signed by Mrs. Lulu E. Schmicker on December 19, 1989. I gave
Mrs. Schmicker a check in the amount of $2,792.00 in exchange for
the release.
I am keeping a copy of this release for our files and forwarding
one copy to Purchasing for their records.
