Dear Jim:
Concerning our previous phone conversations with Bill Blackmoor of
Clark Dietz, Inc. , we propose the following items for your review,
comments and approval;
Item #1 - 2" rigid galvanized conduit for telephone service (in
duct banks) to remain as shown.
Item #2 - 5" rigid galvanized conduit from CECO pad to building
(12 conduits) to remain as shown.
Item #3 - 5" rigid galvanized conduit in duct banks (other than
Item #2) change to 5" PVC Schedule 40.
Item #4 - Ten - 1-conductor #12 control wires (in duct banks)
change to One 12-conductor #12 cable with shield

RESOLUTION
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE CONTRACT WITH
WIL-FREDS CONSTRUCTION FOR THE SLADE AVENUE WATER FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of Elgin has heretofore entered into a
contract with Wil-Freds Construction for the construction of
the Slade Avenue Water Facility; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to modify the
terms of the contract as is described in Change Order No. 1,
attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that Larry L. Rice, City Manager, be
and is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order
No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference.
