Dear Mr . Call,
Enclosed is a list of products we are currently supporting under
your hardware maintenance agreement . According to our Terms and
Conditions this agreement has no expiration date , however , we
realize that in many cases your purchase orders define an
expiration date and/or a dollar limitation .
Listed below are three options available to you to provide us with
the authorization to continue your maintenance agreement . Please
choose whichever option is the most convenient for your purpose ,
and forward the appropriate documentation to us by April 30 , 1986.
1 ) . We recommend you avoid the administrative costs associated
with issuing a new order by simply signing below. Doing so will
provide us the necessary approval to continue uninterrupted
service on your existing order at the attached prices . It also
means that your current order can be used to add equipment to the
maintenance agreement or cover any other price changes.
Since we provide a minimum of 60 days advance notice , you can be
sure that any future price changes will not come as a surprise
to you. As always , you have the option any time to refuse the
change and cancel the agreement with a 30 day written notice .
However , we hope this will never come about .
2) . We do recognize that occasionally it is necessary for you to
have more control over the price . As a current subscriber of
our agreement services , you also have the opportunity of extending
your service at the current amount and price protecting yourself
for up to a year . This can be achieved by signing below and
issuing payment for the annual amount of your agreement .

3) . If your Company requires a purchase order that includes a
dollar or time limitation , it will be necessary for you to
send us an amended purchase order , as your current order does
not reflect the proper time and/or dollar limitations .

Dear Customer:
Changes in the cost of delivering our support services require us to make
selective adjustments to our service prices. On the attached sheet you will
find a list of products we currently support under the above referenced Agree-
ment and Control Number with the new maintenance price(s) and effective date.
If you currently maintain an open-ended purchase order with HP, no further
action on your part is necessary. If this is not the case, please select one of
the following options to assure continued service.
Option 1: Provide an Open-ended Purchase Order to avoid the costs of issuing a
new order each time equipment is added to your Control, price changes occur or
end dates are reached. This type of order does not have dollar amount and/or
date restrictions. You may either issue a new order with this format or you may
sign below which will be accepted by HP as constituting a modification to your
present order and deletes dollar and time period limitations.
Option 2: Prepay Service Charges to provide price protection for up to a one
year period at current prices. This excludes you from any repricing during the
prepaid period, as is provided in the Customer Support Services Agreement.
Option 3: Provide a Restricted Purchase Order with dollar amount and/or date
restrictions on your order. You may issue an amendment to your existing order,
or provide a new purchase order to reflect the price changes.
