75-0107 Sidewalk Easement GRANT OF PERMANENT EASEMENT
FOR CONSTRUCTING AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC SIDEWALK
THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH, that the Grantor Martin Skok, Jr. , of
the City of Elgin in the County of Kane for and in consideration of the sun
of Ten and no/100 Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable considerations,
in hand paid by the City of Elgin, a municipal corporation, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents, hereby grant and dedicate
unto the City of Elgin, a municipal corporation, a PERMANENT EASEMENT upon and
over the premises or tract of land described below situated in the County of
Kane and State of Illinois, for the purpose of permitting the Department of
Public Works of said City to enter upon the said described tract of land to
construct and maintain a public sidewalk.
The tract of land upon and over which the PERMANENT EASEMENT herein
is granted is described as follows:
That part of lot 13 in Block 9 of Theo. F. Swan's sub-
division of the southeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 41
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, having
tax identification No. 06-15-402-003, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of lot 13; thence north 6
feet along the west lot line to a point; thence southeasterly
to a point on the south lot line 6 feet from the southwest
corner of said lot; thence back to the point of beginning,
said tract containing 22 square feet, more or less.
The said Tract of land being also shown by the plat hereto attached
and considered a part thereof.
The said Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum herein named,
waives all damages of every name and nature that may accrue to the said
Grantor or to the premises or tract of land above described, or to any adjoin-
ing premises owned by the said Grantor, because of the construction and
maintenance of a public sidewalk.
This PERMANENT EASEMENT shall be binding upon the Grantor and upon
his heirs, executors, successors and assigns.
