COUNTY OF KANE ) CERTIFICATE I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois. I further certify that on December 20, 2006, the Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G112-06 entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain Parking Restrictions Within The City Of Elgin, which provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form. The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G112-06, including the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building commencing on December 22, 2006, and continuing for at least ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public inspection upon request in the office of the municipal clerk. That Section 11.32.030 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled "Stop Intersections" be and is hereby further amended by adding the following thereto: "Hill Avenue -Northbound - to stop for Ann Street. Hill Avenue - Southbound - to stop for Ann Street. Airlite Street-Northbound- to stop for Lin Lor Lane. Airlite Street - Southbound- to stop for Lin Lor Lane." Section 2. That Section 11.60.0500 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, entitled "Stopping, Standing and Parking Prohibited Where" be and is hereby further amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is prohibited under Section 11.60.050) the following thereto: "Chaparral Court-East side of the entry to Chaparral Court for a distance of 93 feet from the intersection with Chaparral Circle from November through March. Cimmaron Court-North side of the entry to Cimmaron Court for a distance of 244 feet from the intersection with Chaparral Circle from November through March." Section 3. That Section 11.60.083 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled "One Hour Parking Zones"be and is hereby further amended by deleting from the list the following locations: "South State Street, east side thereof, southerly from the intersection with West Chicago Street, the southerly three (3) spaces." Section 4. That Section 11.60.084 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled "Two Hour Parking Zones" be and is hereby further amended by adding the following thereto: "Municipal parking lot located at Highland Avenue and State Street,forty-three(43) spaces on the northwest corner. South State Street, east side thereof, southerly from the intersection with West Chicago Street, the southerly three (3) spaces." Section 5. That Section 11.60.130 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled "Parking of Commercial or Recreational Vehicles,Trailers or Truck Tractors Restricted" be and is hereby amended by amending Section 11.60.130B to read as follows: "B. No person shall park a recreational vehicle without motive power or a trailer of any kind without motive power on any public street. This restriction includes,but is not limited to, boat trailers, campers, pop ups, trailer coaches, semi-trailers, travel trailers,utility trailers,portable storage units for moving purposes(commonly known as PODS) and every other vehicle without motive power designed for carrying persons or property on its own structure which is designed or intended to be drawn by a vehicle with motive power." Section 6. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed. Section 7. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its passage and publication in the manner provided by law.
