AN ORDINANCE
RECLASSIFYING TERRITORY FROM CF COMMUNITY FACILITY DISTRICT TO
RC1 RESIDENCE CONSERVATION DISTRICT
(522 and 542 Owasco Avenue, 491, 505 and 515 Teal Street and
493, 498, 499, 504, 505, 514 and 515 Genesse Avenue)
WHEREAS,written application has been made to reclassify certain property located in the
CF Community Facility District at 522 and 542 Owasco Avenue,491, 505 and 515 Teal Street and
493,498,499,504,505, 514 and 515 Genesse Avenue from CF Community Facility District to RC 1
Residence Conservation District; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Commission has conducted a public hearing
concerning said application and has submitted its written findings and recommendation that the
subject property be reclassified; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City has reviewed the findings and recommendation of
the Planning and Development Commission and concurs in such recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:

Section 1. That Chapter 19.07, Section 19.07.600 entitled "Zoning District Map" of the
Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding
thereto the following paragraph:
"The boundaries herein before laid out in the "Zoning District Map", as
amended,be and are hereby altered by including in the RC 1 Residence Conservation
District, the following described property:
Lots 2,3,4, 15, 16,and 17 in Block 11 of Sadler's Addition to Elgin and also
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, and 16 of Block 13 of Sadler's Addition to Elgin, being a
subdivision located in the west V2 of the northeast quarter of section 11,Township 41
north, range 8 east of the Third Principal Meridian, all in the City of Elgin, Kane
County, Illinois."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be full force and effect immediately after its passage in
the manner provided by law.
