G26-02 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR A PERSONNEL SUPPLY SERVICE (8 NORTH STATE STREET) WHEREAS, written application has been made for a conditional use for a personnel supply service in the CC1 Center City District at 8 North State Street; and WHEREAS, the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board conducted a public hearing after due notice by publication and has submitted its Findings of Fact and recommended approval ; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin concurs in the findings and recommendation of the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Elgin hereby adopts the Findings of Fact made by the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as Exhibit A. Section 2 . That a conditional use for a personnel supply service in the CC1 Center City District at 8 North State Street and legally described as follows : THE SOUTHERLY 44 FEET OF THE EASTERLY 90 FEET OF LOT 11 IN BLOCK 29 (EXCEPT THE EASTERLY 10 FEET OF THE SOUTHERLY 22 FEET THEREOF) OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF ELGIN, ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE FOX RIVER, IN KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS (PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 8 NORTH STATE STREET) be and is hereby granted subject to the following conditions : 1 . Statement of Purpose and Conformance, submitted by Anna Jarnebro, Atlas Staffing dated December 6 & 11, 2001 . 2 . In order to reduce the demand on parking in the vicinity of the subject property, employees normally working off site as temporary employees shall not regularly be required to visit the premises for the purpose of receiving assignments . 3 . Transportation of temporary employees from the eft. site to employment locations shall not be regularly provided by the personnel supply service . For the purpose of clarification, employees may provide their own transportation to their places of employment . 4 . Compliance with all other applicable codes and ordinances . Section 3 . That the conditional use granted herein shall expire if not established within one year from the date of passage of this ordinance . Section 4 .
