HomeMy WebLinkAboutG20-01 Ordinance No. G20-01 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE USE OF THE WING PARK AND LORDS PARK FAMILY AQUATIC CENTERS WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Elgin has recommended to the City of Elgin that the fees for the use of the Wing Park and Lords Park Family Aquatic Centers of the City of Elgin be revised and established as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin concurs with said recommendations . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That the following fees for the use of the Wing Park and Lords Park Family Aquatic Centers be and are hereby established as follows : Resident/Nonresident DAILY ADMISSION: Youth $ 4 . 50/$ 6 . 75 Adult $ 6 . 00/$ 9 . 00 Senior $ 4 . 50/$ 6 . 75 Lap Swim $ 2 . 00/$ 2 . 50 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP : Youth $ 60 . 00/$ 90 . 00 Adult $ 70 . 00/$105 . 00 Senior $ 60 . 00/$ 90 . 00 FAMILY MEMBERSHIP : 3 Members $ 125 . 00/$188 . 00 Each Additional Member $ 25 . 00/$ 38 . 00 GROUP DISCOUNT FEE : Not for Profit Groups (no group minimum required) Youth/Senior $ 2 . 25 Adult $ 3 . 00 Groups Youth/Senior $ 3 . 50/$ 5 . 50 Adult $ 4 . 50/$ 7 . 25 RENTALS : Private Rentals (2 hour rental of entire facility) 1-50 people $ 300 . 00/$390 . 00 Over 50 people (per additional person) $ 5 . 00/$ 7 . 00 Birthday Party (includes facility admission, hot dog, chips and drink for each person and a reserved area for 1 1/2 hours in the food court) 10 people including birthday child: $ 135 . 00/$162 . 00 Addition people up to 20 more (per person) $ 12 . 00/$ 14 . 50 Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinance in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
