HomeMy WebLinkAboutG77-95 Ordinance No. G77-95 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR A MASTER SIGNAGE PLAN (255 South Randall Road) WHEREAS, written application has been made for an AB Area Business District conditional use for a a master signage plan at 255 South Randall Road; and WHEREAS, the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board conducted a public hearing after due notice by publication and has submitted its findings of fact; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin considered the findings of the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Elgin hereby grants an AB Area Business District conditional use for a master signage plan for the property located at 255 South Randall Road, Elgin, Illinois, and legally described as follows : LOT 13, TOGETHER WITH THE SOUTHERLY 47 . 37 FEET OF LOT 14, AND THE NORTHERLY 67 . 63 FEET OF LOT 12, IN RANDALL LAKE CROSSING, A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 16 AND PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 21, ALL IN TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 8 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED NOVEMBER 23, 1994 AS DOCUMENT 94K085086, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. subject to the following conditions : 1 . The freestanding sign and building signs shall be installed and maintained in substantial conformance with the Master Signage Plan prepared by the McDonald' s Corporation, dated August 17 , 1995 . 2 . Flags, information signs, menu board signs, temporary signs, building markers, identification signs, and promotional window signs shall be installed and maintained in conformance to the Elgin Zoning Ordinance. 3 . Compliance with all other applicable codes and ordinances . tow Section 3 . That the conditional use granted herein shall expire if not established within one year from the date of passage of this ordinance. em- Section 4 .
