COUNTY OF KANE CERTIFICATE I , Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois . I further certify that on July 26, 1995, the Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G51-95, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin which provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form. "h. The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G51-95, including the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building, commencing on July 27, 1995, and continuing for at least ten days thereafter. Municipal Clerk (SEAL) em- Ordinance No. G51-95 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF ELGIN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by adding Section 11 . 60. 145 as follows : "11 . 60. 145 Overnight Parking in Parks Prohibited. A. No person shall park a vehicle within any city park after 10 : 00 p.m. and before 7 : 00 a.m. B. Any police officer of the city is authorized to cause the removal of any vehicle parked in violation of this section to a public garage or other lawful place of storage. C. Vehicles removed pursuant to this section shall be returned to the owner or operator of such vehicle upon payment of any towing fees and any storage charges incurred for each day that the vehicle remains unclaimed. D. Except as otherwise provided herein, any vehicle removed pursuant to this section shall otherwise be treated as a vehicle that has been removed from a tow-away zone as provided in Section 11 . 60 .205 of this chapter. " Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed. Section 3 .
