Ordinance No. G31-85 Which Granted• a Conditional Use for a
Church; Property Located at 1900 Big Timber Road; by Elgin

II . CONSIDERATIONS
A petition has been filed by Elgin Evangelical Free Church
requesting an amendment to an existing conditional use for
a church. The subject property is located at 1900 Big

The petitioner proposes to construct an addition to the
existing church. The addition would house Sunday school
classrooms and a multi-purpose room to be used for
recreational purposes by the congregation.

Subdivision Hearing Board held a public hearing on Petition
32-93 on August 4, 1993 . The petitioner testified at the
public hearing. Proponents of the petition did not
testify at the public hearing, and objectors to the
petition did not testify at the public hearing. Written
correspondence in support of the petition has not been
submitted, and written correspondence in objection to the
petition has not been submitted.

being provided and no additional employees will be
employed, no additional stalls are required.

District as part of the Comprehensive Amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance in 1992 .
