Ordinance No. G26-82 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FARES AND CHARGES FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF PERSONS BY MOTOR VEHICLES BY EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES OPERATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OF THE CITY OF ELGIN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That there is hereby established the following schedule of fares for municipal bus service provided by the Department of Trans- portation of the City of Elgin: Fare Routes Within the City of Elgin Adult 50t Senior Citizens and Handicapped (with proper I.D. ) 25t Students 1. With Transportation Department Passes Students of high school age and below traveling to and from school between the hours of 6 :15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. 25t 2. With School District U-46 Passes Students of high school age and below traveling to and from school between the hours of 6 :15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Free Children from age 7 through age 11 25t Children age 6 years and younger (when accompanied by a fare paying passenger) Free Elgin Transfers Free RTA Universal Transfer 40Q (Students, Senior Citizens & Handicapped 20¢) Elgin/Aurora Bus Route (Local Zone) Adult 50Q Senior Citizens and Handicapped (with proper I.D. ) 25Q r 1.
