AN ORDINANCE
rk ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES AT THE MJNICIPAL GOLF COURSES OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN FOR THE 1975 GOLF SEASON AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN
POLICIES RELATIVE TO THE OPERATION OF SUCH COURSES
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary and
proper to establish a new fee schedule and other policies relative to
the operation of the municipal golf course of the City of Elgin for
the 1975 golf season.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the following fees and charges be, and the same
are hereby established for the two municipal golf courses for the 1975
season, to-wit:

YOUTH ROUNDS
Youths must be accompanied by a parent in order to play Saturdays, Sundays,
and holidays prior to twilight time; and during week-day twilight time
except at Wing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During Saturdays, Sundays and
holidays twilight time youth can play without parent and must pay adult
daily fee. Youth season tickets good weekdays prior to twilight time only,
except Tuesdays and Thursdays twilight time at Wing Park.
SENIOR ROUNDS
Senior season passes good weekdays prior to twilight time only, except
Tuesdays, Thursdays twilight time at Wing Park.
Section 2. That self-propelled golf carts shall be permitted on the
Spartan Course only.
Section 3. That the City shall stock and sell a line of golf supplies
and sell food and non-alcoholic beverages on both courses, except that the
sale of beer shall be permitted at Spartan Meadows, that golf leagues shall
be promoted and golf tournaments encouraged at both courses.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
